NDSF & Housing Authority sign MoU to invest €50 million for New Social Housing Project
Earlier this week, in the presence of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, CEO for the National Development and Social Fund (NDSF) Ray Ellul and CEO for the Housing Authority Leonid McKay signed the MoU for the 500 new social housing units to be built at 22 different sites, across 12 localities around the Maltese Islands. Planning and designing has already started for this largest social housing project in the recent history of our country.
NDSF receives 70% contributions from MIIPA, where one of NDSF’s functions and fund tasks is to assist initiatives to provide for the social housing needs of the population and to combat social exclusion.
